Outdoor fun at Bainloch Deer Park
At Bainloch Deer Park, you can get close to the different species of deer that live there. These include the native roe, red, sika and fallow. There is also a herd of Scottish feral goats, which live high up on the hill.
Petting animals
At Bainloch there is a group of pygmy goats and a small herd of soay sheep available for visitors to see and feed (feed bags are available).
Wildlife outings
For those of you that may enjoy a guided search for animals such as badgers and foxes, using tracking techniques, hides, lookouts and high seats, or if you would like the chance to see woodpeckers, harriers and perrigran falcons in their natural habitat, please ask for details.
This may require walking / hiking with early mornings or late evening starts.
Argo cat rides
Argo cat rides are available, lasting approcimately one hour, at a cost of £7.50 for adults, and £5 for children. During the trip, the guide will inform you of the wildlife that you come across. There will be opportunities to take photographs and admire some of the most picturesque views in South West Scotland. The Argo can seat up to five passengers.
